Courses

Many participants have similar health or aesthetic goals, but different preconditions with respect to body and mind. Therefore Core Pilates is offering a wide range of courses, training formats and Levels, so that you can chose which best fits you best to reach your individual training goals.

The invidivual training, either as Solo or together with someone else as a Duo is the most effective form of training. As the instructor very much focuses on your individual needs, these courses are open to all levels. Chose by yourself when it is the right time and select the program and the equipment together with the instructor.

The Trio is an individual trainging with max. 3 participants with the Pilates Equipment. The courses can have different themes or levels, in order to make the training most individual and cost effective at the same time.

The Group / Prevention Courses at Core Pilates are limited to max. 7 participants. They enable everyone to build up a concise unterstanding of and practicing the Pilates Method. Although the courses have a dedicated workout character, they also introduce to the theoretical background, which enables you to shape your body and maintain your health at the same time.

Good to know! Your German public health insurance may support your participation according to ยง 20 SGB V.

Solo

Traditionally Pilates is tought in small groups or with one student at specially developed equipment. The Core Pilates Studio is fitted with this equipment so that 1 - 2 persons can train. The resistors of the machines developed by Joseph Pilates are based on springs. Depending on the excercise, the springs can control and support your movements.

Many participants have similar health and aesthetic goals but bring with them different physical, mental, and health prerequisites. Offer your body and mind the best possible conditions for reaching your individual training goals.

The courses allow for a maximum of flexibility for job and time planning. It is even possible to book a trainer for home or office.

This training is recommended for being introduced to Pilates. And it also helps those who want to make faster progress than in a group, or that need intensive care due to health reasons.

Duo

In a duo you train together with another student at the selected equipment with an instructor of your choice. The training will be designed so that it perfectly fits your goals with a maximum efficiency.

Trio

With this type of training, you use the advantages of the equipment that Joseph Pilates developed. Aiming at providing a most effective and cost conscious way of training, we offere a variety of course formats and levels. Through this we can progressively and securly work on health-oriented and aesthetic goals to reach optimal results.

Trios regularly have a duration of 55 minutes, but we also offer Trios with 25 Minutes (30'). For courses that are marked 'orange", please check the description (e.g. specific equipment), e.g. our very popular Pre-Pilates courses for pregrant women or the Tower & Strech Courses.

Group Classes

Pilates group classes teach the basics of the classic Pilates method. The exercises and theoretical foundations are introduced step-by-step over ten class units (50 - 55 min. each). We work in small groups of max. 7 participants so that there is space for individual corrections and learning modifications and variants.

This workout can help you to correct your posture and prevent back pain while making your body firmer and more flexible at the same time. In order to make your training as effective as possible, we offer basic classes (Level I), classes for beginners with some previous experience (Level II), intermediate classes (Level III) and classes for advanced participants (IV).

Preventive

Pilates preventive classes teach the basics of the classic Pilates method. The exercises and theoretical foundations are introduced step-by-step over ten class units (50 - 55 min. each). Preventive courses (*) may be subsidized by your health insurence. Precondition is regular participation. Get in touch with your health insurance to find out!

Next courses

Levels

Each equipment has its own level, therefore Level III Mat training does not entitle to Level III Reformer. For the Mat and Reformer exercises there is a traditional fixed repertoire according to the levels. Frequent students of individual training (Solo & Duo) use personal score cards, a leveling is therefore not needed. The leveling for Trios and Group Courses is done together with the instructor, basing on the understanding of the Pilates method.

And yes, leveling is decided by the instructor. In fact, attending a course with the right level does not only show a responsible attitude towards your own body, but shows respect to the other course participants. We welcome ambition and want to develop you. So please, ask as at any time about how we judge your level. This is the only way to achieve an optimal development of body, mind and soul.
