Apparatus
Joseph Pilates designed all the apparatus to support the work on the mat and serve as a bridge to everyday life. While the mat and reformer follow structured sequences that create a dynamic workout experience, the other apparatus focus on more deliberate, mindful work afterward. The corrective exercises on these pieces are designed to enhance body control—a central aspect of the method, which Joseph Pilates called Contrology. The experiences you gain on the apparatus not only deepen your training but also provide lasting movement skills that accompany you in your daily life.
